Redemption Series

Okay, so this should explain why I haven't posted in almost a month and why the laundry is piling up, etc, etc, etc....

I've been reading the Redemption series by Karen Kingsbury. It took me less than a month to read all five! They were so good. I'm looking forward to starting the next series by her that plays off of these books. If you haven't read these I suggest you do.

So, what books keep you up reading into the wee hours of the night? I want to know what you've read lately and just can't seem to put down.

I ADORE her books!! Have you read her other series? You should definitely follow this up with the two series that follow the Baxter family. There are (i think) 12 or 13 or so books total in the three series, and I have them all. I have read every one of her other books too, except the brand new one that came out yesterday. I love her!

I have heard such good things about these books! I will definitely have to go check them out of the library and read them for myself!

I have been reading spiritual discipline books lately in preparation for our Ladies Bible Study at church. We just finished the week on "Wising Up with Money" so I read Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. This week we are studying "How Wisdom Looks on a Wife" so I have been studying Five Love Languages, Intimate Issues, etc. In two weeks, we are doing "Becoming a Mother of Wisdom" so I have been reading Mission of Motherhood and 24 Family Ways. All I highly recommend! They are fantastic and challenging in a spiritual and practical way!

I finished the final book, I think #14 a week after I moved here.

Oh, you have been busy! I heard these books were a real find. Funny thing...my sister is friends with her road manager. A guy of course.

Thought of you tonight when I made some fabulous meatloaf muffins. I don't know if you told me this, but I added shredded carrots. So good! They were a hit with roasted potatoes and green beans!

I haven't read this series, but my favorite are the Love comes Softly series by Janette Oake...The movies are good too, but they don't stay completely true to the books. I highly recommend them and Redeeming Love is a good book too!! Based on the book of Hosea!!
